Our favorite thing about what we do is being able to capture those special intimate moments between couples and families. Because lets face it, after the moment is gone, all you have left are your memories and pictures. And that’s something that we LOVE! Being able to capture those huge milestone moments in our client's lives. From the first look, to the father daughter dance, we want to be there with you every step of the way.
Now for a little bit about us! We are Katie and Dejan (pronounced Dayin), we met each other in high school and we’ve been together ever since (time flies when you’re having fun!). Photography is something that we both have always had a passion for, and it wasn’t until we started to plan our own wedding that we realized we wanted to turn our passion into a career.
Aside from photography, we love to spend time with our two dogs, Stella and Blaire. They are Australian Shepherds with HUGE personalities, and they are a big part of our lives. We are always taking them hiking or to the park to play.
We are excited to start this journey and we can’t wait to become friends with you during it!
Meet Our Team
Caitlin
I first fell in love with photography at 15 and can still remember my very first camera, a hot pink Canon that went everywhere with me. It wasn’t until I started planning my own wedding that I thought about doing photography full-time. I love being a wedding photographer, and 7 years later you can still catch me wiping my eyes behind the camera.
Things I love outside of photography:
Reading- I am a huge reader and typically read about 50 books a year. My favorite genres are fantasy and historical fiction.
Travel- I have a severe travel bug and am constantly planning our next adventure. My favorite places I have visited so far are Italy and Scotland.
Baking- You can often find me in the kitchen baking various types of bread. I am currently trying to maintain a happy sourdough starter. If you know, you know!
Dejan (pronounced Dayin)
Growing up I have always enjoyed watching movies and appreciating a beautifully shot film. This appreciation for filmmaking and storytelling translated to me volunteering for the media team at my church and eventually lent itself to me diving into photography, from weddings, to sports, to landscape and nature photography!
Things I love outside of photography:
Nerd Culture - I am a huge fan of anything nerd related. I’m into anime, comic books, and even have a weekly Dungeons and Dragons session that’s been going on for 4+ years!
Sports - My father being from Philadelphia meant me adopting the fandom no matter where I lived. Aside from basketball and football, I also keep up with soccer, tennis, and track and field as much as I can
Reading - Just like Katie, I am an avid reader. My favorite genres are Sci-Fi and Fantasy.
